Own Your Future™ - First-time Entrepreneur Program (8 week)

As a student, you're learning a lot of fundamentals about business - but what about actually starting your first business? Who is there for you during that process? We are! In the "Own Your Future" program, we will setup your LLC, train you on what you need to do to start your business, and provide a year of monthly sessions to help you on your journey. You'll also have access to attend any of our First-time Entrepreneur workshops during the tenure of the program. 

While this program is open to all first-time entrepreneurs, we target student founders with this program so they always can start their career with the mindset to always be in business for themselves.

There's nothing more important in business than being able to profit from your own work, and this program helps setup that foundation at a young age.

   • Week 0 - Send onboarding materials to attendees. Personal introduction from coach and facilitator.

   • Week 2 - Personal coaching 1:1s with facilitator.

4. Resources Required

   2. Facilitator - Entrepreneur or someone in operations familiar with systems and leading teams.

   3. SME - AI consultant or someone else with deep AI building and implementation expertise within small to mid sized organizations.

   1. Single-member LLC or similar structure in participant’s name. 

   2. Understanding of important business concepts and requirements.

   3. Understanding of business systems and how to operate. 

6. Certification and Reimbursement Process

   1. Facilitator certifies all attendees have attended and completed the training.

   2. Facilitator collects proper information and works with State programs for reimbursements.

Certified Workshop™: First-time Entrepreneur Business Training (1/2 day)

When you're starting a business for the first time, you can often feel like you're blind and walking on the moon. Who knows what you'll step on or if your next step may be over a cliff. This workshop will give you the schematics of what to expect as a first-time entrepreneur so you'll feel a little more visibility when you go on your business journey.

**We hold these workshops monthly and it is included for all Own Your Future™ participants.**

Give your team a one-day workshop to hear from a founder about growing a business and managing teams when everything is uncertain. How do we make sure our teams are still able to execute in an environment like that - high stress, no certain reward, possible failure? Learn from our experts how to navigate your ship as captain.

1. Purpose: Hear from a founder on what it’s like to manage a growing team with constant change, and how that can be used to your advantage as an effective leader.

   1. What Does Entrepreneurial Leadership Mean (to a Founder)?

   3. What happens if and when my actions fall astray from corporate demands and norms?

6. Certification and Reimbursement Process

   1. Facilitator certifies all attendees have attended and completed the training.

   2. Facilitator collects proper information and works with State programs for reimbursements.

Certified Workshop™: AI In The Workplace for Students (1/2 Day)

This program is designed to give students visibility into what A.I. systems are being used in the workplace. From individual to enterprise use cases, we'll give you a hands on overview of the most important things to know about A.I. in the workplace.

1. Purpose: Hear from a founder and operator what A.I. systems matter to me right now and how you can use them for yourself today.

   1. Overview of A.I. system structure

   2. Which A.I. systems should I use? A review of "There's an A.I. for That".

   3. A.I. system selection process and criteria.

   4. Getting more out of your day with A.I. and other integrated systems.
